LifeKeeper is built so household data stays on the device. Version 1.0 does not create an account, does not require the internet, and does not send family, home, vehicle, document, expense or reminder records to any server.
Stored on this device
Records live in an encrypted local database. Attachments are encrypted on disk. The unlock PIN is stored as a hash in the device keystore, never as the PIN itself.
No account and no tracking
There is no sign-in, no advertising identifier, and no analytics SDK in V1.0. The app makes no network calls for household data.
Backup and export you control
A backup file is written only when you choose Create backup and protect it with a backup password. CSV, PDF and JSON exports are also created on demand. Platform cloud backup of the app data is turned off so a new phone cannot restore an encrypted database without the key.
Permissions
LifeKeeper may request device permissions only to provide features you use — for example notifications for reminders, biometric unlock, camera or photo library for document attachments, and file access to save or open a backup. Permissions are not used to collect household data for advertising or sale.
Children
LifeKeeper is a household organizer, not a social product directed at children. Guardians may store family member records locally. We do not knowingly collect children’s data on our servers because V1.0 does not operate a user data server.
What this app is not
This is not a medical record, emergency service, or banking app. It does not diagnose, treat, or move money. Optional Pro licensing and cloud backup, if they arrive later, will be described before anything leaves the device.
Data deletion
Because data is stored on the device, uninstalling the app removes the local vault unless you keep a backup file you created. Settings also offers Delete all data after a typed confirmation. There is no cloud account to delete for V1.0.
Changes
A later version that talks to a server will update this policy before that version is published. The updated policy will remain available at this URL.
